Happy Half Year! - How to make the rest of the year absolutely awesome.

Did you realise that half the year is gone?

Have you lost track of your 2018 goals?

Still want to hit them before the year is over?

Hopefully your answer is yes. If it's NO, then don't bother reading the rest of this article.

First off, you need to ensure that your goal(s) meets the 10 Critical Elements of a Properly Set Goal and I have a free course on that and you can access it here.

The next step is to go deeper into your WHY behind your goals. Wait, wait, I know you must have heard about the importance of your WHY before but this what I am about to share with you is critical because it is not just more information, it is an actual exercise that will really get to the root of WHY you want the goals you have created.

Can your WHY go 7 levels deep?

Essentially, if your WHY cannot go 7 Levels Deep then it would be easy to quit.

I have to warn you that the exercise is very repetitive but extremely powerful so have some patience and give it your all.

You need to have your goal(s) already established for this exercise to work.

Step 1 - Answer the question and write down the first answer that comes to mind. Why do you want to achieve GOAL (QUESTION #1)? Write down your ANSWER #1.

Step 2 - Then ask yourself this question - Why is it important that you ANSWER #1

For example, if I have a goal to develop a marketing campaign for my programs, my ANSWER to Why I want to develop a marketing campaign for my program might be  'I want to get more clients, more readers, and keep my customers engaged so they can change their lives for the better' (ANSWER #1).

Then QUESTION #2 would be 'Why is it important that your clients are engaged and understand more, to overcome obstacles, to take action, and to see the next level of their lives?

This will give me ANSWER #2. It may be something like 'Because so many people get stuck in the routine of mediocraty and I know I am giving them good strategies, but not all are using them. I don't want to be the sales guy that just sells them a program but to really leave a legacy'.

Step #3 - QUESTION #3 is Why is it important to you to ANSWER #2.

In our example, QUESTION #3 would be 'Why is it important to leave a legacy?'

Steps 4- 7 is a repeat of the pattern of simply asking Why is it important 7 times.

You need to find the root of you WHY?

This seven levels deep 'WHY' exercise is the foundation of all success and probably one of the most important success habits to develop. We recommend that you do it 4 times a year.

Once you know your why, you will use it countless ways to motivate your actions.

But you must go 7 levels deep. If you don't your WHY may not be strong enough to keep you motivated.

If your find it difficult to go 7 levels deep, then you may need to rethink your goal. It may be that its not YOUR goal but maybe to fit into society's view of success of please someone else.

When you attach your WHY to your actions, you get your emotions involved and you anchor your goals to your life to a point where they become part of your soul, a part of your heart and not just another well-intentioned thought.
